Buying Goji Juice: What To Avoid

Monday, April 27th, 2009

Across the world today, lying, cheating and false advertising is just part of life–it’s an accepted way of doing business. But, that’s not the case at Goji Unveiled. This being the case, we’d like to give you tips on what to buy and what to common pitfalls to avoid.

What Should You Look for in a Juice Company?

1. Helpful–your distributor should be customer oriented. In other words, they’re goal should be to help you by answer questions, providing fast processing & shipping, etc. When you call a company with a question, wouldn’t you like to speak with a human? Did they provide you a toll free number to call? Did your email get answered promptly?

What makes them helpful?

If you spoke to someone on the phone, were they courteous? Did they answer your questions? Did they seem willing to help you, not pressing you for an order?

2. Honest–This one attributes is extremely important: is the company honest? If a company uses deceptive advertising or other slick methods of business, steer clear of them. Who says they are telling the truth about there products?

3. Products–Obviously a company’s history is important, but so is the product itself. If it matters to you, is it 100% all natural and safe? Is it preservative and chemical free? Is the product researched by scientists and proven that it really works? Do consumers like the products and agree with the research?

4. It Came From–Does it matter to you where the goji berries were grown? Goji Berries grown in the East seem to have a bitter taste as well as lower nutritional levels. However, this is not a concern as most goji is grown in the West–Tibet region and Himalayan Mountain regions. Those grown in Tibet aren’t quite as nutritious as Himalaya berries, so if you are concerned I’d ask for details about the Goji Juice.

5. Company Policies–Although this may seem minor and usually is, how does it work if you want to return the products? Does it matter if they are opened or consumed yet? Will the company take back the products, regardless of their condition, for a 100% money-back refund?
