Just to make sure we’re on the same page, I want to clarify that this information is about our Goji Juice. Obviously this list of ingredients and benefits doesn’t necessarily apply to all goji juices.

Goji Juice Ingredients
1. Reconstituted goji juice from Lycium barbarum fruit. This is over 92% of the goji juice ingredients.

• Your first question is probably “Why reconstituted? Can’t we have fresh juice?”

To preserve the nutritional value of the fruit once it is harvested, it must be processed into juice concentrate and kept stable. The next step is to reconstitute and then put it through the 3-step process to test its quality and nutritional value.

• “What is Lycium barbarum fruit? I though we were talking about goji berries?!”

We use the most nutritional and best tasting variety of goji berries, Lycium barbarum. Another  common name for goji is wolfberry. Lycium barbarum is grown in the Himalayan Mountain region.

2. Grape juice concentrate, pear juice concentrate, apple juice concentrate, pear puree and natural flavor. These juices make up just over 7% of the goji juice ingredients.
