Where Did Freelife International Begin? 
In the 1990's, Ray Faltinsky and his friend Kevin Fournier founded Freelife International, with the intent to provide nutritional supplements to the world. As the years crept by, Ray & Kevin discovered the Goji berry. They began seriously studying it, along with doctors and scientists. As the years progressed, Freelife began experimenting with formulation and manufacturing practices.

Where Did Himalayan Goji Juice Come From? 
By 2003, Freelife was confident; they had a true gem on their hands. What would they do? Make it available for sale! This powerful Goji berry couldn't be kept a secret any longer. Accordingly, Freelife manufactured Himalayan Goji Juice® and launched it in 2003. Much to their surprise, everyone was delighted and begged for greater quantities. Thus, began the Himalayan Goji Juice® revolution.

Now We've Got GoChi Juice®, too? 
While Freelife continued to study both the Goji berry & Himalayan Goji Juice®, they discovered that the juice could be improved. After reformulating it, Freelife's juice was now 30% more effective & even better tasting. The new & improved GoChi Juice®was released in 2008 and had a similar effect as Himalayan Goji Juice® did.

Where Did Goji Berries Originate?
Although no one is perfectly sure when Goji berries first were recognized as power fruits, they were mentioned as early as 100 & 800 A.D. in Medicine Almanacs and poems. Historically, Mongolia, India, Asia, Himalayan Mountains and Tibet regions cultivated the Goji bush. The locals ate Goji berries to improve overall health and longevity. 

In the 1700's, a duke of England noticed the Goji berry plant while traveling abroad. He planted the Goji bush on his estate, which started the Goji craze creeping across the country-everyone wanted what the Duke did. However, because of climate it is thought that the bushes never bore fruit and revealed their secret of health and longevity.
